A Shared Passion for Outdoor Spaces
We’re Eric and Chelsea, the owners of Idea Scapes, a landscape design and construction company serving the Charleston area.
From a Shared Vision to a Growing Company.
Idea Scapes began with a shared vision to create outdoor spaces that are both beautiful and functional... spaces that fit the property, the people who live there, and the way they want to use it.
What started as a passion for landscaping and solving real property challenges has grown into a full-service design and construction company serving homeowners throughout the Charleston area. Today, we’re grateful to work together, bringing our different strengths, perspectives, and attention to detail to every project.
Our Approach and Values
Thoughtful Planning
We take the time to understand each property and what matters most to our clients.
Quality Craftsmanship
We build outdoor spaces designed to look great, perform well, and last for years to come.
Clear Communication
We believe in honest, responsive communication from the first conversation through project completion.
Whole-Property Focus
We consider how every element, landscape, hardscape, drainage, irrigation, and lighting, works together as a complete property.
Better Together
We each bring different strengths to the business, which allows us to look at projects from multiple perspectives and create a more complete experience for our clients.
Eric
Eric leads the project development, design, estimating, and construction sides of the business, drawing on his hands-on experience, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail.
Chelsea
Chelsea plays a key role in client experience, organization, communication, and the day-to-day operations that keep everything running smoothly. Together, we stay involved in both the big picture and the details, and we take pride in the relationships we build with our clients.
Creating Lasting Value for Your Property
We are committed to creating outdoor spaces that add beauty, function, and long-term value to your property. Whether it’s a complete landscape transformation, a complex drainage solution, or a custom outdoor living space, we approach each project with care, planning, and a focus on quality from start to finish. We’re grateful for the opportunity to do what we love, and we look forward to helping you create a landscape you can enjoy for years to come.
